Since our humble beginnings as a two man operation began back on May 7, 1960, David Laird Associates has grown in many positive ways. We are both proud and appreciative of being involved with so many successful projects and we owe these blessings to our great clients. Our lengthy tenure has primarily focused on projects in Northwestern Pennsylvania, the place where we live, work, and choose to raise our families. However, we haven’t limited our practice to just Northwestern Pennsylvania, as we have traveled throughout the Commonwealth for some of our long-term clients. We take pride in promoting, preserving, and enhancing the environment in our planning and design process. Our experience has allowed us to anticipate a community’s vision for proposed projects and we have utilized this knowledge to help meet the desires of our clients.
We pledge to continue offering our professional services on a personal level. Being a second generation family business and a firm that is locally-owned and -operated from our main office in Erie, we take a personal interest in each of our projects.
Our experienced land survey crews and seasoned civil engineers respond quickly to our clients’ needs, and continue to place the needs of our clients first. Having been in business for over 57 years, we have fine-tuned our philosophy and approach to our projects, ensuring that each project is a success.
We have been very fortunate to have successfully completed so many projects throughout Erie, PA; Meadville, PA; Jamestown, NY; Chautauqua, NY; and the entire Northwest Pennsylvania region, and because of this, our firm has the distinct advantage of having much of the existing local survey records and infrastructure data compiled into our record keeping system. This allows us to quickly analyze and design future projects.
